Due to its location in the Caribbean Sea, it is surrounded by paradisiacal islands that can be reached by land sea transportation in less than 45 minutes.

The gastronomic variety in this city is incredible, there are restaurants of all kinds, but the star is the Creole and Cartagena food that can be tried without censorship and without filters in places like La Mulata, La Olla Cartagenera or La Casa de Socorro, or with a good egg arepa on any corner . For palates that are a little more avant-garde but still enjoy the essence, you can visit restaurants like Erre, Carmen and Alma.
