  • If you are a Colombian citizen between 0 and 7 years old, you must present the Civil Birth Registry (copy of the original issued by a Notary).   • To enter the country with pets, products and by-products of animal and plant origin as luggage, these must be accompanied by the corresponding zoo or phytosanitary certificate of origin in order to safeguard the agricultural health of the country.

Keep in mind: According to Law 1453 of 2011, the illegal possession, transportation and trade of wild fauna or flora is a crime. Decree 1220 of 2005 of the Ministry of the Environment establishes that the introduction into the country of parents of exotic or foreign species, subspecies, races or varieties that have been considered invasive or potentially invasive cannot be authorized.
